Ida routs Tecumseh

TECUMSEH - The Ida boys basketball team didn't waste any time making a statement in the Class B District at Tecumseh.
The Blue Streaks soared into a 20-point lead at the half Monday night and went on to dismantle Tecumseh 62-33.
"We played very well defensively, especially in the second quarter,'' Ida coach Mike Albring said.
Nic Jobe scored 23 points and added 10 rebounds as Ida (20-1) tied its school record for victories in a season. Dustin Sielski added 17 points.
"Dustin has had some trouble with his knee but it seems to be all right now. He played well,'' Albring said.
Ida plays Milan in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
