Article published Oct 24, 2006 Prep Profile: Rachel SepesySchool: Ida Year: Senior Sports: Basketball, volleyball, softball. Parents: Tony and Leslie Sepesy. Siblings: Mike, Dan. Biggest thrill in sports: Playing in the state softball finals last year. Biggest disappointment in sports: Losing in the state softball finals last year. In 10 years, I see myself: Working somewhere as a nurse. I want to be an OB nurse or some type of baby nurse. People would be most surprised to learn that I: can walk on my hands. I was in gymnastics, and I used to be able to walk the whole length of the gym floor on my hands. Biggest influence on my life: My aunt Amy (Wilson) Schrader. I used to go to her games when she played volleyball, basketball and softball at Concordia. She's a great role model because of all she's accomplished and now she has her own family. The one thing I would change about my school is: I like Ida. It could be a little bigger. Person (living or dead) I would most like to meet: Jennie Finch. She's kind of my softball idol. Favorite place to visit: Every year we always go camping with a bunch of other families Up North in Glennie. We've gone for about the last eight years and it's something we really look forward to. My No. 1 goal in life: To be successful, achieve all my goals and live a happy, healthy life. I possibly want to play softball in college. My philosophy of life: Take each day one step at a time and live life to the fullest.
